Perisic popped up in the 84th minute to give the Nerazzurri the lead before Icardi secured just their second Serie A win in seven games, despite facing the league’s bottom side
Late goals from Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi rescued a win for Inter as they beat bottom side Crotone 3-0 in Sunday’s Serie A clash.
The encounter at San Siro was Inter’s first Serie A game since Frank de Boer was sacked as coach.
And it appeared the Nerazzurri were heading for a draw until Perisic popped up in the 84th minute to give his side the lead, before Icardi put the result beyond doubt with two to himself.
The victory is Inter’s second in seven Serie A games, and they now sit 13 points behind leaders Juventus.
