Inter begin Blind talks

According to reports in the Italian media, Inter Milan have started talks as they try to sign Manchester United defender Daley Blind.

The 28-year-old has been at Old Trafford since 2014 but he could soon be on his way out of the club.

Blind has struggled to force his way into Jose Mourinho’s first-team plans and admitted last month that he may need to move on this summer.

The former Ajax man started just four Premier League games last season and was left out of the squad for the FA Cup final against Chelsea.

Inter are now hoping to take advantage of his situation as they try to boost their squad after qualifying for the Champions League.

Blind will play for the Netherlands in Italy this week and Inter scouts are set to attend as they take one final look at him before making their move.
