The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted Inter Milan’s finances and new manager Simone Inzaghi is concentrating his efforts on signing quality but cheap players.
It is claimed that Fiorentina and Genoa are currently in pole position for the signature of the lanky striker who has also been linked with Premier League club Brighton & Hove.
Simy took the Serie A by storm last season, scoring 20 goals and assisting three others in 38 matches for demoted Crotone.

It is believed that Simy’s preference is to play in the English Premier League next term and remaining in the Serie A is another good option.
The 29-year-old has one year left on his contract at Crotone and is available for a fee in the region of 10 million euros.
