Jose Mourinho will not settle for anything less than the league title.
It was a difficult first season for Jose Mourinho, ending the campaign 24 points behind his former club Chelsea as the Blues were crowned champions.
Manchester United still managed to lift three trophies, but ex-United defender Phil Neville has insisted that the Portuguese manager will aim for the league title.
‘It’s going to be a difficult season, as everyone else is spending money and improving’, Neville told MUTV. ‘United are going to have to improve as well because they didn’t finish in the top four last season’.
‘Even that is a big ask, but I think Jose will want to win the Premier League. That’s the big one. He won’t settle for anything less’, Neville concluded.
