Judo players drum up support for Oshodi

JUDO players across the country have drummed up support for Dr Musa Oshodi just as elections into various sports federations draw nearer.

Speaking on behalf of the players, the players representative on the board of the Nigeria Judo Federation, Segun Gbayi, noted that the judo federation required the expertise of somebody like Dr Musa Oshodi.

“He has done well as the Vice President of the federation and we think it will be good if we give him the opportunity to serve at the highest level of the federation which is the post of the president.

“I hereby on behalf of other players plead with stakeholders in the judo industry to give Dr Musa Oshodi, a chance to paddle the canoe of the Nigeria Judo Federation (NJF) of which I am very sure he will take to an enviable height”.

Gbayi called on government at all levels as well as corporate bodies to promote the game of judo by giving it the desired attention most importantly in terms of sponsorship.
