La Liga will report PSG for breaching FFP rules

La Liga president Javier Tebas has made it clear that the organisation will try to prevent Neymar’s move to PSG, due to it being an infringement of Financial Fair Play regulations.

A new character has taken center stage in the soap opera that is Neymar’s move to PSG. It appears that the Brazilian star, who is edging closer and closer to the sensational move, will have to fight in order to push through the deal.

That’s because La Liga president Javier Tebas believes that PSG’s attempts to sign the player for €222m are ‘inapropriate’ and has thus promised to report the Parisian side to UEFA.

“We will do it because they are breaking UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules and the competition laws of the European Union,” he asserted.

Tebas did not mince his words and concluded by saying exactly how the process would unfold: “We’re going to report them to UEFA and it they don’t take any notice we’ll take them to competition tribunals in Switzerland and Brussels, we’re not ruling out court cases in Spain or Fance either,” he concluded.

Is Tebas serious or is he merely trying to scare PSG into pulling out of their move?
