Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has caught the eye of Chelsea boss Frank Lampard who showered praises on the Nigerian following his impressive outing in Lille’s 2-1 home loss to Chelsea.
The Blues boss hailed the 21-year-old attacker, positing that he made it difficult for his defenders to cope whilst also wishing him a great career in the future.
“Osimhen was very impressive and it was a very difficult game for our defenders. He is fast and solid and I wish him a great career,” Lampard said during the post-match conference.

Lampard’s praise was however re-echoed by Lille boss Christophe Galtier who also hailed Osimhen for his workaholic nature on the pitch of play.
The Nigerian drew Lille level on the 33rd minute after Abraham had put Chelsea ahead before Brazilian winger Willian scored a superb volley to seal all three points for the Blues.
The former Sporting Charleroi attacker still managed a game rating of 7.1, winning 6 duels and also had a penalty overlooked by the centre referee.
