Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has announced his retirement from football.
The ex-England international won the Premier League three times with Chelsea, as well as the FA Cup on four occasions and the Champions League in 2012.
After coming through the ranks at West Ham, Lampard joined Chelsea in 2001 and went on to become the club’s all-time record goalscorer with 211 strikes.
Lampard is also the only midfielder to have scored more than 150 goals in the Premier League, with his tally of 177 putting him fourth on the all-time list.
At international level, Lampard was capped 106 times for England, scoring 29 goals and featuring at four major tournaments.
