Speaking , chairman on the occasion, Pastor Kola  Akeredolu, said  sports is a fundamental activity capable of promoting comprehensive development, adding  that it is an aspect of education  that should be made compulsory in the curriculum.

Akeredolu, who noted that sports contributed to mental development of a child, advised parents to continue to encourage their wards to participate in sporting activities so that they could develop necessary skills that would make them celebrities in the world of sports.
