Anthony Joshua has said he would love to knock Carlos Takam out in just 30 SECONDS.
But the heavyweight champion admitted that an early knockout will be tough against the Cameroon-born Frenchman – who he previously stated had a head “like a block of cement”.
Joshua defends his two belts against Takam in Cardiff on Saturday night.
He told Fight Hub TV: “I want it to go thirty seconds.
“But it’s not reality, I’m prepared for a twelve round fight, but if I could I’d like to get him out between round one to eight.”
Joshua was also asked how Takam compares to Kubrat Pulev, who pulled out of the fight because of an injury.
“Takam can take a bit more,” said the Watford-born superstar.
AJ, 28, also said that Takam his height – Joshua has five inches on Takam – will not be that big an advantage.
“Takam’s got a patient style, he’s not going to fight on emotion he going to fight on tactics.
“Takam has fought a million guys my height, he’s used to people like that.”
