Lucas Perez back in full Arsenal training after missing Burnley clash with knee injury

October 7, 2016

Arsenal forward Lucas Perez has returned to full training after missing the Gunners’ league clash with Burnley.

The Spaniard was left out of Arsene Wenger’s 18-man squad to play at Turf Moor after sustaining a knee injury.

The 28-year-old’s made just three appearances for the club since his £17million move from Deportivo La Coruna but scored twice during a EFL Cup win against Nottingham Forest in September.

Wenger’s men have recovered from a slow start in the league to win eight out of their last nine fixtures in all competitions and Perez should be fit for the Gunners’ next league match against Swansea City on the 15th September.

The majority of Arsenal’s squad is away on international duty this week but Perez will be able to link-up with fellow non-selected team-mates this week.
