Top government functionaries, business executives and sports business professionals will converge in Abuja on Saturday, April 26, 2025 for the inaugural Sports Meet Nigeria Conference, a high-impact professional gathering, designed to foster collaboration among investors, marketers, broadcasters, media and public relations experts, sports and social entrepreneurs, administrators and leaders from other key industries.
The conference, which will hold at the Cubana Hotel Jabi, Abuja, will feature panel discussions, keynote presentations, networking sessions and deal-making opportunities aimed at unlocking the commercial and developmental potential of sports in Nigeria is put together by a veteran sports business advisor, FIFA Player’s and Match Agent and Boxing Promoter and Matchmaker, Akeola Lukumanu Ayinde, the Chief Executive Officer/CEO Elite Sports and Tourism Development Limited (ESEM) Group, a leading sports talent management and tourism development agency dedicated to fostering excellence in sports through strategic partnerships, talent development and investment facilitation.
According to Ayinde, a book titled ‘Beyond the Game: Unveiling The Potential of Sports in Nigeria’, would be launched during the conference.
