Man City: Iheanacho, Adarabioyo for Southampton trip

Manchester City ramped up their preparations for their game against Southampton with a place for youngsters Tosin Adarabioyo and Kelechi Iheanacho at the Etihad Campus as the squad prepared for the trip to St. Mary’s.

The players could be seen taking part in manager Guardiola’s favoured rondo, with stars like John Stones, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph involved in the drill.

For City fans, the sight of Vincent Kompany battling with Sergio Aguero for the ball will have come as a relief.

Kompany has been involved again in recent weeks after battling back to full fitness, but with injury often around the corner for the Belgian, his continued involvement could only come as a boost.

Willy Caballero, who missed out on the game against Hull City at the weekend, had a comedy moment as he hid behind Angus Gunn on his way onto the training pitch.
