Manchester United are reportedly preparing to make a £70million offer to re-sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace in the summer.
The 27-year-old was Sir Alex Ferguson’s final signing in 2013, but he did not feature under the Scot.
The Ivorian forward fell out of favour with David Moyes and made only four appearances for the Red Devils before he was sent to Palace on loan.
The Eagles then signed Zaha permanently for just £6m plus add-ons, and he has since established himself as one of the best wingers in the Premier League.

According to The Sun, United are now frontrunners to sign Zaha in the summer and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now planning a bid in the region of £70m.
Solskjaer is keen to add reinforcements in attack and Zaha’s versatility is an attractive proposition as he is capable of playing on both wings and in a central role.
Arsenal attempted to sign Zaha last summer but refused to meet Palace’s valuation, while Everton also had a series of bids rejected for the forward.
Zaha’s current deal keeps him with the south Londoners until 2023.
