Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini has returned to the club from international duty with Belgium after picking up a calf injury.
The 28-year-old has made 12 appearances for United so far this season and has become one of Jose Mourinho’s most trusted squad members.
Fellaini played the full 90 minutes as the Red Devils defeated Swansea 3-1 on Sunday afternoon and flew out to train with Belgium ahead of their World Cup qualifier with the Netherlands.
However, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has suggested the midfielder picked up a knock during the Premier League tie at the Liberty Stadium.
Martinez said: ‘Fellaini picked up an injury against Swansea City and will go back to his club! We have a core of 24 players is enough.
‘Apart from Fellaini, everyone is in order. Mousa Dembele is restored but will still be resting against the Netherlands.
‘We are counting on him against Estonia. Kevin De Bruyne is feeling a little tired, but it will appear certainly my selection Wednesday.’
