Messi intimidated El Clasico referee ―Real

The dust has settled on another El Clasico, but Real Madrid are not in forgiving mood and have directly accused Lionel Messi of influencing the referee at half time.

Los Blancos consider the performance of Hernandez Hernandez to be well below par for a fixture of this magnitude but had to choose their words carefully in the immediate aftermath.

“We have to laugh or else we’ll cry,” was heard in the mixed zone post-match.

“It’s no wonder that Barcelona continue unbeaten.”

Much of their ire stems from two separate decisions.

The first in allowing Barcelona’s second goal to stand after Luis Suarez had blatantly fouled Raphael Varane, and the second being the incredulous decision not to award Real a penalty after Marcelo’s legs were clearly taken from him by Jordi Alba.

Inside the club they consider that this is actually the usual trend, however, eyewitnesses insist that Messi pressured Hernandez Hernandez for sending off Sergi Roberto and not Gareth Bale, and that has infuriated many.

“Messi’s chat in the tunnel is the biggest thing we’ve seen in a while,” came the words from deep in the heart of the club.

“You s**t, you s**t, thinking it’s always good to give them things,” Messi apparently said to the referee.

According to the witnesses, the incident occurred right on the same site where, just moments before, a discussion between Nacho and Pique ended with the Madrid player responding angrily.

However, for now, the images that could clarify what happened exactly with Messi and the official have not come to light.

The Mediapro production company is the only one that could use them since it is the one who has a camera in that area.

Sources at the company have indicated that there are no images of Messi and the referee together in the tunnel, throwing a further shroud of mystery around the whole sorry saga.
