Lionel Messi was found guilty of defrauding 4.1 million euros back in July 2016 and was given 21 months in prison.
However, the sentence has now been suspended and the Barca striker will not have to spend any time in prison, after agreeing to pay an increased fine of 252,000 euros.
Good new for Messi, who was serving time on probation due to lack of prior offences, and has now seen the possibility of spending time behind bars removed entirely.
