Mike Tyson fires at Jake Paul

Mike Tyson admitted “I wish that guy died” as he opened up over his ruthless dark side.

The legendary boxer, 58, is stepping back in the ring on November 15 to fight influencer Jake Paul, 27, in front of 80,000 Texan fans.

Tyson and Paul were originally due to clash on July 20 before the veteran suffered a health scare.

But he is now ready to get his gloves on for his first pro boxing fight since 2005.

Some have questioned whether the 30-year age gap will make for a fair scrap.

However, Tyson insists he will be bringing out his ruthless alter-ego to make sure he wins on the day.

That’s despite Tyson admitting he’s still “haunted” by his boxing alter-ego after winning 50 of his 58 fights with 44 knockouts.

Speaking to Paul’s brother Logan on his podcast, Tyson said: “Unfortunately I have to fight and be that guy.

“I wish I could stop that guy, that guy haunts me.

“I wish I could stop that guy, I wish that guy died, but he’s here to stay.”

Tyson is certainly confident he will get the better of Paul when the two men meet.

He said: “I had a small adversity, I got sick, but I feel good. I’m just ready.

“He may have been in the ring with people who have the same intentions, but the actuality, no.

“As soon as I catch this guy it’s going to be totally over, he is going to run. He is going to run like a thief.”

Earlier today, Tyson stunned Logan with his bizarre response to Tommy Fury and Molly Mae Hague’s break-up.

Tyson seemingly got confused by mixing up “Molly” with the slang word for the Class A drug MDMA.

Tyson left Paul laughing as he exclaimed: “Who the f**k is Molly?

“I’m thinking about getting high. I’m in the drug phase of my life.”
