NIGERIA’S Victor Moses, says he was filled with pity for Arsenal as Chelsea humiliated the Gunners 3-1 on Saturday at Stamford Bridge in an EPL fixture.
Reviewing the game on Sunday, Moses told Flyzone that Chelsea was on unforgiving mood against Arsenal.
“‘It was not another game, you know all that goes into this London tie.’’
“We came out hard and fast, believing that Arsenal have the means to hurt us. The coach was solid on what he wanted from us and fortunately he got his tactics right. We followed what we knew about the game and we made good use of it.”
Moses also said he was moved by seeing his friends at Arsenal suffer.
“On a day like that, you think of friends in the other team, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi were good friends of mine but we shut out their corners.’’
Chelsea stand-in captain, Gary Cahill, believed that with a performance like Saturday’s there no stopping Chelsea.
“There is no doubt we raised our game, we had to. Against an Arsenal side fielding some of the best we have in this country, there is no place to hide. We had a special training towards the game and bravo to everybody at Chelsea.
“If we could drive this towards the next game against Burnley then we can go all the way.
