Moses hails Salah as England’s best

Chelsea’s wingback, Victor Moses, thinks whoever disputes Mo Salah’s Premier League Player Of the Year should go back to bed.

Salah beat Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne to the title with some claiming the Belgian had done more than Salah but Moses was quick to rise to his former team mate at Chelsea.

”We all see what a great player Mo is, he has convinced us he is back to the Premier League just to score goals and his goals have been phenomenal and consistent. I don’t think many people will fight this choice, except those who need to return to their bed and wake up to the buzz he is creating  he is just the best”. Moses told Chronicle Live.

Newcastle’s forward, Islam Slimani backed Moses and expressed the notion that Sallah needs to work harder next season.

”Defenders will surely look out for him next season, he is very dangerous and I hope he keeps this form going to the World Cup.

However, former Arsenal and England defender, Martin Keown said he prefers De Bruyne to Salah.

Writing in his Daily Mail column, Keown said: “If I was still playing he would have had my vote.

“Only a few weeks ago we were all hailing Manchester City as one of the greatest sides to win the Premier League.”

“City would not be dominating in the Premier League without De Bruyne’s vision and desire to take the game to the opposition.

“Every game he serves up a dazzling array of balls for strikers to finish.”
