Thomas Tuchel has been hit by a devastating transfer blow with Mason Mount reportedly growing ‘frustrated’ at Chelsea.
ount had become a key player under Frank Lampard before the Englishman was sacked, with Tuchel also making him a first-choice member of his starting line-up in his first six months at Stamford Bridge
But in the German’s first full campaign in charge, Mount has found himself slipping down the pecking order.
He started the first three Premier League games, before being benched for the win over Aston Villa and hauled off at half-time in the trip to Tottenham.

Since that win over Spurs, Mount has started just two of Chelsea’s seven top-flight games, having struggled to recreate his form from previous campaigns.
His hat-trick against Norwich City remains his only goals in any competition this season, with the 22-year-old having notched only two assists on top of that.
With Mount struggling to create chances, Tuchel has opted to give his other attacking options a chance to shine.
But Tuchel’s decision has reportedly had a negative impact on Mount, who is thought to be growing increasingly frustrated with his role.
According to the Daily Star, Mount is feeling ‘under appreciated’ at Stamford Bridge due to the way he is treated compared to the club’s other big-name stars.
