Ahmed Musa
Ahmed Musa has expressed delight after leading Nigeria to a 3-0 victory over Seychelles in Saturday’s African Cup of Nations qualifying tie.
The 25-year-old’s opener and efforts from Chidozie Awaziem and Odion Ighalo ensured that the Super Eagles flew past the Pirates at Stade Linite.
The win has helped Gernot Rohr’s men get their qualification campaign back on track after suffering a 2-0 defeat to South Africa in their group opener last year.

And the Super Eagles all-time World Cup highest goalscorer has taken to the social media to revel in the victory.
“Great team victory! Three points to help us qualify for the African Cup of Nations. Happy to get a goal,” Musa wrote on Instagram.
Nigeria are third in Group E standings with three points from two games and face Libya in their next qualifying game on October 9.
