Musa linked with Stoke City switch

Super Eagles’ winger, Ahmed Musa will end his nightmarish stay at the King Power Stadium, with a move to fellow English Premier League club, Stoke City when the winter transfer window opens in January.

Musa joined Leicester for a then club record fee of 19.5m pounds in July 2016 from Russian side CSKA Moscow, but after showing brilliance in the first half of the season, the Nigerian has struggled to maintain the big money spent on him, costing him his starting place in the team.

A source close to the player told AOIFootball.com that the former VVV Venlo winger has made up his mind to leave but it is yet unknown if he will make a loan move or a permanent deal with Mark Hughes’ side.

” He has made his mind. By January Musa will move to Stoke,” the source said.

The move, however, will be a boost for both the player and Nigeria, as the World Cup beacons and Musa will need to convince his new employers that he still has what it takes to succeed at the big stage, if he wants to stand any chance of making the trip to Russia next year.
