Musa’s planned move to Hull stalled

Ahmed Musa’s mooted loan move to Hull City is apparently off following a change of management at the KCOM Stadium.

The Leicester City forward had been linked with a move to the Tigers – where he would have reunited with his former CSKA Moscow manager Leonid Slutsky – the summer, but a transfer failed to come to fruition.

While rumours of Hull’s interest in the Nigerian recently resurfaced, the Leicester Mercury suggests that the trail has gone cold now that there is no longer the draw of Slutsky to attract the player following the Russian’s dismissal at the weekend.

The 25-year-old has been limited to one appearance for the Foxes this term, starting – and scoring in – the League Cup victory over Sheffield United in August.

Aston Villa have also been credited with an interest in Musa.
