NBA Star Kevin Durant Buys $12M Oceanfront Mansion

NBA star and savvy businessman Kevin Durant has rewarded himself with a $12.05-million oceanfront mansion in Malibu, California.

Durant, a 29-year-old forward for the Golden State Warriors and founder of The Durant Co., used a limited liability company to purchase the 5,136-square-foot contemporary house on April 16.

The nine-time All-Star is behind the newly registered entity, 35 Malibu Holdings, LLC, according to property records.

Rebuilt in 2013 on approximately one-quarter of an acre of land, the house has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a private guest suite, a media room, a massage and exercise loft, as well as a library, according to the listing with Susan Monus and Chris Cortazzo of Coldwell Banker.

The home features vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, walls of glass, marble countertops, custom designs and furnishings, according to the listing.
