Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes insists goalkeeper Manuel Neuer looked good in training after returning from injury.
The Germany international has only made four appearances this season after suffering a foot injury in September.
He underwent surgery to correct the metatarsal problem and only began running again in March. Neuer started training with the ball earlier this week and he is expected to recover in time for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
When asked about his progress, Heynckes insists the 32-year-old is coming along nicely in his rehabilitation.
He told reporters: ‘He looked very good. I talked to him and he is in very good shape. His foot coped well with the workload, there was no reaction. Now we have to wait and see what the physios come up with, what plan is best?
“We have a clear plan which we’ll stick to and we’ll see when he can train fully.”
