The management of the Nigeria National League (NNL) has reiterated that the commencement date of the league’s new season remains April 3, 2019.
The date had been announced at the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the NNL, held last Wednesday in Abuja.
A press statement signed by Amar Ignis, the spokesman for the NNL and made available to Sporting Tribune Online on Monday added that the seven days deadline given to all clubs yet to register for the new season will lapse on Wednesday, March 27.

As a result, affected clubs were advised to do the needful.
At the Abuja AGA, it was resolved that any club that fails to fulfill all registration requirements by deadline will be delisted from the NNL with the draw conducted for others.
The draw “and other activities for the smooth commencement of the league”, according to the press statement released on MOnday, will be held between March 28 and April 2.
