Newcastle want Chelsea's David Luiz on loan next month to help steady the ship
Newcastle United boss, Rafa Benitez wants to land David Luiz on Loan next month.
The Brazilian has fallen out with Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte and his future is uncertain.
SunSport revealed yesterday how Arsenal are ready with a £25million bid for central defender Luiz, who is currently out with a knee injury.
But Benitez is also plotting a swoop for a player he got on well with during his time at Stamford Bridge in 2012-13.
The Spaniard was seen chatting to Luiz after Newcastle’s 3-1 defeat in west London earlier this month.
Chelsea bought back Luiz, 30, for £32m from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2016 after flogging him to the French giants for £50m two years earlier.
Yet it remains to be seen if Conte will allow the centre-half, who can also play as a holding midfielder, to leave in the New Year, especially with fixtures piling up.
Benitez is having to target loans because of budget restrictions and also wants Liverpool striker Danny Ings.
