Neymar’s father has reportedly met with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about replacing Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward has thrived in Ligue 1 since his £198million move from Barcelona, but his dad is rumoured to already be working on a deal back to La Liga.
According to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, sources in Paris have revealed that Perez and Neymar Sr have spoken about a possible transfer involving the Brazilian.
Los Blancos failed to nab the 25-year-old from Santos when he moved to Barca in 2013, and it has been reported that the door is always open at the Bernabeu.
A deal would only take place when Ronaldo’s contract expires in 2021, but it is believed that Neymar has no intention of leaving Parc des Princes anytime soon.
Despite rumours he is unhappy at PSG, the 2016 Olympic gold medallist is thought to be loving life in France and dreams of lifting the Champions League with his new side.
Neymar fell out with strike partner Edinson Cavani over a dispute about set-pieces, and according to reports in France, is already “fed up” with boss Unai Emery.
PSG fear he could be tempted back to Spain if he fails to win major honours with the Coupe de France champions, and are determined to make him feel comfortable in his new surroundings.
The two-time La Liga winner feels settled in the dressing room, and has a close bond with compatriots Dani Alves, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Lucas Moura.
Neymar has been spearheaded his side to the top of the Ligue 1 table as they sit four points clear of Monaco.
