Neymar fouls kid in 5-A-Side game in Santos

Neymar isn’t exactly everyone’s favourite footballer, in fact it’s getting harder and harder to find fans of the Brazil and PSG forward and he may have lost a few more after a foul on a child during a five-a-side game.

When Neymar was at Barcelona he wasn’t exactly always mister popular. Sure fans of the Catalan giants probably quite liked him when he was bagging the goals and helping fellow forwards Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez but he’s a difficult player to love if he doesn’t play for your team.

When he moved to PSG he would have lost many of his fans. PSG aren’t exactly a popular club with their big money spending nouveau riche ways and the fact he moved seemingly in order to win the Ballon d’Or didn’t really sit well for too many people.

His reported diva like behaviour didn’t endear him to crowds and even some PSG fans didn’t enjoy his feud with Edinson Cavani over who takes penalties.

If the World Cup was a good chance to win back some fans then instead the 26 year old decided to spend it rolling around on the floor at even the slightest bit of contact, only annoying people further.

Now footage from Brazil has emerged of Neymar playing in a 5-a-side tournament in Santos, the Neymar Fives, and in it the PSG forward loses the ball to a child and precedes to illegally shoulder barge him off the ball:

It’s not exactly edifying of Neymar, even if it’s a lovely tackle by the kid who gets fouled, and the little shake of the head at the end of the video definitely shows he’s not impressed with the referees decision.

You’ve got to love the fact that he was trying to fool the kid with his usual tricks but the defender just stands there, prods the ball away and then runs off with it, class.

Of course you could argue that Neymar’s just doing his job after losing the ball but it’s a five-a-side tournament and he’s the professional, he could have just taken a loss here.
