Neymar laughs off Spanish reports as ‘fake news’

Neymar claims reports he is ready to leave Paris Saint-Germain and move to one of Spain’s two biggest clubs is ‘fake news’.

Rumours that the Brazil international is unhappy at Parc des Princes have not stopped since he shocked the football world by making a huge move to the French capital from Barcelona in the summer of 2017.

Recent reports in the Spanish press suggested he could return to La Liga, with both Barca and Real Madrid happy to accommodate the South American ace.

Mundo Deportivo claimed on Wednesday he had told Barcelona he wanted to return to the Nou Camp, but a video posted on Neymar’s Instagram showed him scratching his head and laughing as he called the recent furore surround his future ‘fake news.’

Real could certainly do with the former Santos man in their ranks after suffering yet another La Liga defeat on Saturday, going down 2-1 at home to Levante.
