There are strong indications that efforts made by the minister of Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung to have President Muhammadu Buhari override the decision of the Vice President on the country’s recignition of FIFA Statutes and Amaju Pinnick as FIFA recognized president of the Nigeria Football Federation might have hit the brickwall.
Tribunesport reliably gathered from its source in the presidency that the minister had through the wife of the president Aisha Buhari sought audience with the president having realised that he may not be able to meet with the president through the Chief of Staff.
The wife according the source paved the way for Dalung who eventually saw and met with the president upon his arrival from his official trip to China.
