As the crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) rages on, State Football Associations have pledged their support to the Amaju Melvin Pinnick- led board.
The state football association at their various emergency congresses over the weekend dissociated themselves from the Ambassador Chris Giwa faction.
Giwa took over the administration of Glass House on the instruction of the minister of sports-Solomon Dalung following instruction Attorney-General of the Federation, NGF’s ‘directive that Giwa be recognised following a Jos Court ruling.
A communique jointly signed by members of the Lagos State Football Association-Dotun Coker, Mojeed Adegnindin, Liameed Gafar, Wale Joseph Olatunde Green and Moses Adebanjo and made available to Tribunesport Sunday said that it did not participate in the purported election claimed by Chris Giwa and some other persons to have allegedly held on August 26th at Chida but participated at the Warri election that brought in Pinnick which held according to the NFF Statutes.

It added: “LSFA shall continue to abide with the tenets of Association football and respect for the FIFA, CAF, WAFU and NFF Statutes and shall strongly abide by the position adopted by FIFA and CAF and recognition of Pinnick as duly elected as authentic NFF president and his other board members”.
Also, the Oyo State Football Association at it’s emergency meeting held Sunday at it’s secretariat at the Lekan Salami Stadium Complex stated that it remain loyal to the Amaju Pinnick- led board having particopated at the annual general assembly of the NFF board held in Warri on 30 September 2014 .
The communique signed the chairman and Secretary, Chief James Oluyemi Odeniran and Mr K.A. Ojelowo respectively added that all electoral process put in place by Pinnick executive be adhered to and appealed to all stakeholders involved to explore all amicable means of resolving of resolving the crisis .
Also, Nasarawa State football Association, led by Mohammed Alkali dissociated itself from Alhaji Audu Nuhu the chairman of the state female team Nasarawa Amazons for supporting the Chris Giwa led NFF and suspended him from all football activities in the state indefinitely.
The Plateau Football Association had earlier on Friday dissociated itself from Chris Giwa as NFF president pledging it’s total support to Pinnick.
