Gernot Rohr
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has dismissed the media reports in the local press that four of the players in the Super Eagles’ camp in Austria tested positive for coronavirus ahead of today’s friendly against Algeria.
It will be recalled that both the players and officials of Nigeria undergone COVID-19 tests in Austria and the results are still being awaited.
“Please discountenance any reports that some of our players tested positive to COVID 19 ahead of tomorrow’s friendly game against Algeria. It is a blatant falsehood,” NFF said in a statement.
