NFSC mourn Deji Tinubu, to be buried tomorrow

The Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), have described the late former Director-General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr Deji Tinubu as a Gem in Nigerian sports.

President General of NFSC, Dr Rafiu Oladipo, who could not control emotions while mouring the exit of the former board member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), made the declaration.

“We have lost another Gem in the sporting circles. Deji, was a very amiable young gentle man. May the Almighty be merciful to stop to deaths of young, promising sports personalities in Nigeria.

“We commiserate with the Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwumi Ambode and indeed all Nigerians on this devastating death. May his soul rest in peace,” Ladipo said.

Meanwhile, the remains of Deji, who until his death was the special adviser to governor Ambode on Commerce and Industry will be interred today at the VGC Garden, Lagos, after a candle light processsion which was held on Sunday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, in his honour.
