Nigeria Para Swimming Federation
The Coordinator of Ondo State National Association of Physical, Health Education, Recreation – Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), Otunba (Amb.) Sylvester Ikuejamoye has been elected the president of Nigeria Para-Swimming Federation.
Ikuejamoye who is a former board memeber of the Nigeria Weightlifting Federation and the erstwhile chairman of the Ondo State Weightlifting Association defeated Douglas Agbado in the Federation’s keenly contested election on Thursday.
The sports philanthropist and Otunba of Igbo-Egunrin land polled seven votes out of the total 12 casted to edge Agbado who garnered five in the race to the sit.
The election was held at the main bowl of the National Stadium, Abuja.
Also SA to the governor of Ondo State on Special Persons, Folasade Arise has been appointed into the board of the Federation alongside a serving member of the Osun State House of Assembly, Tajudeen Famuyide in philanthropic capacity.
