Former Abia Warriors coach, Adenrele Adewumi
Former Abia Warriors coach, Adenrele Adewumi, is being sought after by a number of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as well as the Nigeria National League clubs.
Adewumi, who quit Abia warriors early this year due to personal reasons according to Sportingtribune findings, is at present with a non-league side in Kano, where he is developing talents.
A source close to him revealed that the tactician said that he was carefully looking at the offers before him as he continue to groom starlets at the Gama Emirate Football Academy before he settles for any offer considered suitable to him by every standard.

However, the former Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) player, Adewumi, commended the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the League Management Company (LMC) for improving the standard of officiating in the league last season.
He added that any team that targets a continental ticket will have to work for it and not win a ticket on a silver platter.
He noted that with fair officiating regardless of venus, it will also enable coaches to work harder and build a formidable team rather than wait for assistance from match officials to win matches.

“We can all see that this year’s league was good and all we need now is to keep improving and not one step forward and 10 steps backward,” Adewumi, a CAF-licensed coach said.
