NPFL: 3SC tackle Plateau United on match day one, as league kick-start September 9

The draws for the 2023/2024 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season have been conducted. The draws held in Abuja on Tuesday.

The league scheduled to commence on Saturday, September 9, 2023, will see 1998 league champions, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan engage Plateau United of Jos in Match Day One at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.

In other fixtures, Bayelsa United will play against Akwa United, Abia Warriors will trade tackles with Niger Tornadoes of Minna while nine-time league champions Enyimba International of Aba will host Bendel Insurance in what has been dubbed as the star game of Match Day One.

Other matches are Rivers United vs Remo Stars, Katsina United vs Kwara United, Sunshine Stars vs Kano Pillars, Heartland FC vs Lobi Stars, newly promoted Sporting Lagos vs Gombe United and Rangers United vs Doma United.
