Sequel to the adjustment in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 3 fixtures, the mid-week match involving Bendel Insurance FC of Benin and Plateau United of Jos has been rescheduled to Saturday.
According to a circular by the League Management, the match will kick off at 4 p.m. at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
The two teams met twice last season with the Benin side, picking four points out of the six available in the two-legged encounter.
Insurance would look forward to replicating the home victory they recorded in Benin before they went to Jos to pull a draw.
The Benin ‘Arsenals’, as Insurance are fondly called by their fans and admirers, last weekend began the 2023/24 football season with a 2-0 win over another arch-rival, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan.
Insurance are a match behind due to their involvement in the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup, but ousted by RS Berkane of Morocco.
