Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association, (FCT-FA), Adam Mouktar Muhammed has congratulated the former chairman of the defunct League Management Company (LMC) and second vice president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mallam Shehu Dikko, on his appointment as the Chairman, National Sports Commission (NSC) by President Bola Tinubu.
Mouktar, in a statement signed by his media adviser, Uche Nwudoh Hillary, and made available to Sporting Tribune, described Dikko’s appointment as a testament of his exceptional skills, experience and dedication to public service.
The statement read, “As a sports enthusiast, I am thrilled to see an individual like Mallam Shehu Dikko being entrusted with such important role. This appointment signifies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s confidence in his ability to contribute to the enhancement of governance, and service delivery in Nigeria, especially in the area of Sports development.
“I want to commend His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for yet again assembling competent individuals like Shehu Dikko who will tirelessly work towards fulfilling the aspirations of Nigerians in the area of Sports,talent discovery and nurturing. Shehu Dikko expertise and experience will undoubtedly be valuable in achieving the administration’s goals of good governance and overall development.”
The FCT FA boss said Dikko possess the prerequisites management skills to make the NSC’s an incredible platform to make a positive and lasting impact on Nigeria’s sports.
