NSC constitutes electoral committee for sports federations polls

The National Sports Commission (NSC) has announced the composition of the Electoral Committee for the forthcoming National Sports Federations Elections.

The Committee, in line with the NSC’s mandate to uphold the principles of fairness, transparency and accountability, has been saddled with the responsibility of conducting credible elections across all participating sports federations.

The Dr Simon Ebhojiaye-led Committee is expected to announce the election timetable as well as oversee all processes leading to and including the conduct of the elections.

However, the NSC has assured stakeholders and the general public of the integrity of the upcoming elections while calling on all members of the sports community to extend total support and cooperation to the Committee in carrying out their assignment.

Other members of the Electoral Committee are Barrister Samson Ebomhe, Vice Chairman; Mr Lawal Adeoye Waheed, Honourable Tunde Popoola, Barrister Maryam Orotope Paul, Mr Farouk Yelima while Mrs Rita Mosindi will serve as secretary.
