Imama Amapakabo
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has cleared the air as regards the return of former Enyimba and Kano Pillars coach, Salisu Yusuf who has successfully served a one year ban.
Salisu was banned from all Football related activities for one year after he was caught on film receiving bribe prior to the 2018 African Nations Championship in Morocco.
The announcement of his return did not go down well with well-meaning Nigerians particularly when it was envisaged that he will take over the U-23 national team which Imama Amapakabo has qualified for the Nation’s Cup.

The NFF has however confirmed through a top chieftain who pleased anonymity that Amapakabo is to retain his position while Salisu Yusuf will return to the national team as an assistant to Gernot Rohr.
