Oscar celebrates after scoring on his Shanghai SIPG debut
China’s domestic season doesn’t kick-off for a few weeks but Oscar has already made his mark, scoring on debut for Shanghai SIPG in the Asian Champions League.
Facing Thai club Sukhothai, the Brazilian strolled through into the area unopposed and slotted in a calm finish after just 34 minutes of an eventual 3-0 win for Andre Villas-Boas’ side.
The Portuguese coach aligned Oscar alongside his countrymen Hulk and Elkeson as SIPG begin their campaign with the intention of bettering their run to the quarter-finals from 2016.
