The Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen, was named among the 10-player nominees for the 2025 Confederation of African Football Player of the Year.
From incredible stats across all competitions in 2024/2025 season to leading Galatasaray to the next Champions League qualification, Osimhen positioned himself as a force to reckon with in front goal-post, earning him another accolade at the continental level.
Among the nominees are some of Africa’s household names: Mohamed Salah (Egypt/Liverpool); Achraf Hakimi (Morocco/Paris Saint-Germain) and Serhou Guirassy (Guinea / Borussia Dortmund) whose exceptional club and international form have earned them recognition.
