Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has stated that he’s committed to Serie A leaders Napoli in their quest for a Scudetto but also kept his options open regarding a summer transfer.
Osimhen has been in sparkling form for Napoli, scoring 18 goals this season, making him one of the top scorers in Europe’s top five leagues, only behind Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
His impressive performance has caught the attention of several Premier League suitors, with both United and Chelsea linked to the Nigerian international.

However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that the 22-year-old forward is not for sale, but Osimhen has refused to rule out a potential move in the future.
“In the top five leagues, when you are doing well, top clubs around the world are watching you,” Osimhen told ESPN.
“To be able to attract interest from these top clubs shows that I am doing great, and it gives me the motivation to do even more for myself and my team.

“But I am focused on Napoli right now, and they have the final say. I just want to help my team to win matches and win trophies. At the end of the season, we will see what is going to happen, but that is not up to me. It is for the club to decide.”
Napoli, with a 15-point advantage at the Serie A summit, are looking good to clinch their first Scudetto since the days of Diego Maradona.
However, the Partenopei face a stern test in the Champions League as they travel to Frankfurt for the first leg of their last-16 tie.
While Napoli top-scored in the group stage with 20 goals, only one came from the Nigerian forward, who will look to add to his tally against the German outfit.
