The Osun state government has approved the constitution of management teams for both Osun United Club and Osun Babes Football Club.
The government also appoints football coaches for both football clubs.
These were made known in a statement from the office of deputy Governor and Commissioner for Sports and Special Needs, Prince Kola Adewusi, and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday evening by Goke Awoyemi, his Chief Press Secretary.
The statement listed the names of those appointed in Osun United Football Club as Akin Maxwell – Chairman, Abimbola Rufus – Community relations manager, Femi Okenla – Marketing and Communication, Kabiru Adekunle -Team Manager and Oyewole Opeyemi – Secretary
It gives names of those from Osun Babes Football Club as, Mrs. Tola Usman – Chairperson, Wole Animasahun – Team Manager and Mrs. Ronke Ogunbanwo as Secretary while the names of Seye Ajayi – Chief Coach, Sina Afolabi -Assistant Coach I, Waheed Olapade – Assistant Coach II, Lateef Yusuf – Goalkeeper Coach, Seyi Akanni – Medical Officer and Akeem Adebayo Mogba – welfare Officer were announced as coaches in Osun United.
Other names made known via the statement from Osun Babes Coaches are: Bayo Adesina – Chief Coach, 1, Kolawole Keshi – Assistant Coach 1, Yinka Oyeleye – Assistant Coach II, Segun Awopetu – Goalkeeper Coach, Omolola Seun – Medical Officer.
