“If others aren’t happy with FFP, that’s not our problem”

PSG Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi spoke about the Financial Fair Play furore surrounding the club during Kylian Mbappe’s presentation on Wednesday and he didn’t hold back as he sought to defend the club.

“We’re relaxed. We haven’t not met our ‘Financial Fair Play’ obligations. We have nothing to hide,” explained the PSG official.

Al-Khelaifi also took the chance to send a clear message to those kicking up a fuss over PSG’s spending, telling them: “If others aren’t happy with FFP, that’s not our problem.”

The French giants have been the envy of many a club this summer with their spending, with UEFA thought to be investigating the club’s finances after allegations that they are flouting FFP.

The PSG chairman though is in no doubt that the club have done everything legally and above board and he made that clear during today’s press conference.
