Street-pop singer Portable and actor Charles Okocha will renew their celebrity boxing rivalry on July 31 in a rematch scheduled for the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The bout, promoted as “Unfinished Business”, was announced by Balmoral Promotions, which confirmed the event will also feature the Agbaje vs Musa contest.
“Africa, the stage is set. Now, we settle the score. Portable. Charles Okocha. Agbaje. Musa. Four fighters. One ring. No more talk,” the organisers said in a post on Instagram.
Rematch follows Portable’s first defeat
The fight comes after Portable suffered the first defeat of his celebrity boxing career.
At Chaos in the Ring 4, held at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, comedian and streamer Carter Efe defeated the singer by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the contest 30-27 over three rounds.
The defeat ended Portable’s unbeaten run and saw him lose his celebrity boxing title.

Before that setback, Portable had recorded victories over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington, earning two celebrity boxing belts.
Historical rivalry
The feud between Portable and Okocha began in 2023, after the singer accused the actor of cheating him out of about N40 million in a business deal.
The dispute moved from social media into the boxing ring, where the pair first met at Landmark Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Portable was declared the winner after four rounds. He controlled the opening round with aggressive attacks before Okocha responded strongly in the second.
Both fighters appeared exhausted by the fourth round and declined to continue, with Portable eventually awarded the championship belt.
Okocha disputed the result and has repeatedly called for a rematch, insisting the outcome did not fairly reflect the contest.
Chance for redemption
The July 31 contest gives Okocha another opportunity to settle the rivalry, while Portable will be aiming to recover from his loss to Carter Efe and restore his standing in celebrity boxing.
