Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly determined to part ways with Neymar for the second consecutive year, according to Foot Mercato.
The club’s Sporting Director, Luis Campos, has already taken steps to increase the chances of a successful departure for the Brazilian forward, despite previous unsuccessful attempts.
While PSG has officially condemned the recent actions of some supporters who went to Neymar’s residence demanding his exit, there seems to be a similarity between their intentions and those of the club’s management. Back in March 2022, Foot Mercato had revealed that Neymar was being offered to various European clubs.
Even with the arrival of Luis Campos, the situation hasn’t changed. He too has tried to offload Neymar, albeit without official confirmation to maintain the player’s value.

Neymar’s exceptional performances in the first half of the season were driven by his pride and the upcoming World Cup. However, it may not be enough to change PSG’s plans. Inside sources indicate that the club has once again initiated the process of parting ways with Neymar this summer, enlisting agents to find a suitable exit route.
Chelsea and Manchester United have been mentioned as potential suitors, with Todd Boehly reportedly keen on securing the signing. Other destinations may also emerge as options in the coming weeks.
Neymar is reportedly “shocked” by the recent events and is now open to the idea of leaving PSG, which is a departure from his determination to return to FC Barcelona in 2019. However, he understands that with his contract running until 2027, there’s no need for him to rush into a decision.
Despite last year’s failed attempts, Luis Campos seems to have a better chance of succeeding in securing Neymar’s exit in this summer transfer window.
