In his first match since serving a suspension for his unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia, Lionel Messi faced some boos from Paris St-Germain (PSG) fans.
However, it didn’t hinder the team’s performance as they secured a 5-0 victory against Ajaccio, who ended the game with 10 men after Thomas Mangani and Achraf Hakimi were both sent off for their altercation.
Fabian Ruiz and Hakimi found the net in the first half, giving PSG a comfortable lead. Kylian Mbappe then scored twice early in the second half, further strengthening their position.

Ajaccio’s misfortune continued with an own goal by Mohamed Youssouf, which confirmed their relegation. Their best chance came in the 67th minute, but Mickael Barreto’s shot narrowly missed the target.
Messi played the full 90 minutes, making his return to action for PSG after serving a two-week suspension imposed by the club for his unauthorized travel.
Under the guidance of manager Christophe Galtier, PSG is just four points away from securing their record 11th French title. With three fixtures remaining, they currently hold a six-point lead over second-placed Lens.
